About the Car

Built by Connaught Engineering and based on Lea Francis mechanicals and suspension, the Connaught L3 Sports Racer was a purpose-built road racing car. The engines were heavily modified by Connaught raising compression and performance converted to dry sump as well as fitting sandcast SU carburettors The body is made in aluminum over an ash frame and is fitted with cycle fenders.
